The individual will report to the Category Management Senior Manager.Job Purpose:Develop Category Analytics and Insights at the customer & corporate level to assist in driving sales for the Key Accountabilities 1.Develop category centric selling stories to sell in Barilla items using panel & scan data for respective accounts. 2.Assist Sr. Category Manager with corporate-led initiatives 3.Prepare and provide business updates for the sales team and customer with actionable insights and recommendations to drive category growth. 4.Provide data for category reviews. 5.Deliver post-promotional recaps through post-promotion analysis tools & scan data. 6.Prepare presentations and analysis to internal and external customers 7.Other duties as assignedAdditional Information:Bachelors degree in Business 1 years Sales/Sales Planning/Category Management experience in the Consumer Packaged Goods Industry, with knowledge of Grocery/Mass/Club Channels and customers Demonstrated use of syndicated and consumer data (Nielsen/IRI) in the Retail Consumer Packaged Goods environment Experience translating data to actionable insights and recommendations Excellent computer skills including Outlook and MS Office; Excel use of the wizard, charts/graphs, pivot tables, and formulas; PowerPoint experience creating compelling storytelling (using models such as Cantor) Ability to travel up to 5%Barilla is an equal opportunity employer.
